In relation to motor adaptation, the coupling housing serves as a connecting element between the belt drive axis or spindle drive axis and the motor adapter.

Backlash-free elastomer couplings are used to connect belt drive and spindle drive axes to the motor shaft. A clamping hub is required to fasten the vibration-damping couplings to the motor, whereas different hubs are needed to fasten the couplings to the axis, depending on the axis involved. If a belt drive axis is used, expansion hubs are ideal, whereas for spindle drive axes, clamping hubs are available. Between the two coupling elements, an elastomer insert ensures a backlash-free, fail-safe and damped connection.

The journal can be clamped to each side of the drive wheel of the HM-B axis. It can be used to adapt the input drive, the output drive, the synchronous drive, the encoder attachment, etc.

For parallel movement of two axes, with transmission of the axis torque from the driven axis to the rotating axis. Due to the generously dimensioned diameter, the synchronous shaft is very torsionally stiff, meaning no additional bearing is required, even at higher speeds and longer axis distances.

The spacer is required when the synchronous shaft is not installed horizontally to prevent metal-on-metal contact in the lower coupling.
